If I have two appointments at the same time, they overlap in the iOS 7 calendar rather then appearing side-by-side so that I can't read one of them due to the identical colors of the two appointments. Is there any way to fix this with a setting?

I'm not able to replicate that at all. You might try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

I have the same issue. Typically it can be resolved by touching an area on the calendar that is open (no appointment). Its a big problem though if I have something listed as all day. It covers the entire view.

I fyou have "all day" event that are taking up the entire day, check the event. All day event only appear at the top of the time line (and just below the week view). I suspect they are not actually set up as all day, but have specific time frames assigned.

In teh screen shot below, "Sample" is an all day event; NFL: CAR@SF is not.

thanks for the reply. I've got one today for example. In my outlook on my PC it is listed as an all day event. The all-day event box is checked and 12a -12p are grayed out - this appointment was created in Outlook. On my iPad the appointment shows 12a to -12p.

Prior to my upgrade to iOS 7 all day appoinments did show as they do in your example.

When you open on the iPad, does it show as an all Day event?

How are you syncing these? Though and Exchange account, or directly to your PC? If from your PC, what version of Outlook?

no... In Outlook on my laptop it shows as an all-day event. The original invitation in Outlook was as all day. on my iPad, however, it shows 12a - 12p.

Now that I look at it, though, there is a complicating factor. It's a multi-day event. that may be the issue.

Even with multi-day events, I'm not seeing that. However, I'm syncing via an Exchange account. It is not out of the question that syncing directly with a desktop instance of Outlook could be missing the meta dat that the Calndar app is expecting, particularly if you are using an older version of Outlook.

They do for me. Did you try the reset recommended earlier in the thread?

yes. more than once in fact. it doesn't fix my issue.

I am also having this problem, mainly on my ipad. Having a business, we make many appointments on the ipad, but when there is so thing that overlaps it covers up other appointments. Very annoying. Yes I could just select an area where there in no appointment and it is temporarily fixed, but that isn't enough. Also if I have a 3 day conference while my wife has multiple appointments we can't see the individual appointments only the3 day long conference!
