Just picked up my new 5s yesterday and I'm noticing a horribly annoying glitch where when I click back to the home screen all the icons will shift to the right and will become off center and closer to the edge. It might sound small but it's extremely irritating. Anyone else have this problem or know of a fix? I've erased and restored my phone probably 3 times already.

It's a very small difference but if you look at the space between the side of the screen and the icons you can see it. Looks stupid just in a screenshot but when you keep watching it happen it's very irritating.
Try a reset. Hold down Power and Home button together until Apple logo appears. If this won't help try to restore as new. Not from backup. If the problem persist go to an Apple store.
Yeah I did all of that. It'll only stop temporarily. It's frustrating as ****. I guess it's time to visit Apple.
i just got my iPhone 5s 32GB and immediately I noticed this glitch. after tapping back to home from"multitask" list, the icons shift and realign. they rock from top to bottom and then top. it's annoying all right. I hope this is just a software glitch and gets addressed immediately.
Wow...and I thought I was all alone with this issue. My iPhone 5S does the same thing! My iPhone 5, which I have kept, does not exhibit the problem. Very annoying -- any other suggestions.
Yup I'm having the same problem 5s 16gb running 7.0.1 it's really annoying I was thinking about returning the phone but I'm hoping its a software glitch and not hardware but my iphone 5 running 7.0 doesn't have that problem so is it the hardware then? Please let us know when you visit the apple store.
I'm not sure if the hardware is to blame. Plus, what can the Apple Store do for us while stock of the 5S is so low. Nonetheless, I will keep researching. I posted a similar question this morning and have received views, but no replies. Maybe the issue is not wide spread.
Got it! Apple store literally had no clue they said it was normal and when I looked at the display phones they were doing it too. I knew there had to be something so I kept searching and I found an accessibility setting called Reduce Motion. It's under Settings > General > Accessibility > Reduce Motion. They call it the parallax effect. I turned it off and the problem has completely gone away!
It's most certainly related to the parallax effect as it appears that the icons are shifting or jumping to the correct position when returning to a home screen. This shift is abrupt. Although turning off the parallax effect via settings (reduce motion) addresses the problem, it's not a permanent fix since the parallax effect remains "jumpy."

Mine is doing this as well. I am pretty sure it is a software issue. My old 5 does not do it, nor my girlfriends 5th gen iPod touch. I found another form post describing the issue, and I have one of my own about the issue:

You are correct -- from what I have concluded, it is software. I returned the "problem" iPhone 5S and purchased another unit. After doing a restore, the issue reappeared. I then reset the iPhone and did a clean install (new phone). Problem has yet to reappear. Good sign.
After I posted my post, I actually went to the Apple Store to get the dock, and I figured I would try out the display units. The first one I picked up did the same thing as our phones. I'm sold its a iOS 7 issue, its just strange that the older devices do not do it, it must have something to do with the new chip, maybe the X64 version of iOS. I originally set up my phone as new and had the issue, and did a restore of iOS, and still have the issue. I am no longer going to worry about it and wait for the fix.
+1. Glad it was not just me! This is very weird, but i agree, this has got to be a software issue. I will wait until 7.1 comes out, which i am sure will be in the next 2 weeks or so.
