ios 7 calendar for iphone 5 has no invitee spot?

I added a new appointment and invited people with no issues yesterday. It should be right below 'Repeat' and above 'Alert'.

What type of email accounts are you using? You can't send invites to all mail accounts (Exchange & iCloud) as they do not have the capability of receiving and accepting/processing the calendar invite.

I also am having trouble accepting calendar invitations.

IPhone... Same problems here using Yahoo Mail. Can't invite others to an event, and can't reply to invitations.

However, both of these features seem to function in the iPac.

Must be an issue only with iPhone.

Doesn't work in iPhone, but does work on iPad. Both to the same yahoo email account. So, must be an iPhone problem.

I'm on an iPhone 5 with an icloud account and able to send an invite and accept one.

I just updated and found no invite option. Here is what I did:

1. Click into *Settings

2. Click into *iCloud

3. Select *Calendars (turning to green)

---pop up: "your calendars will be merged with iCloud."

4. Option to Merge or Cancel, I selected *Merge.

You will need your iCloud account to be set up in order to do this. Then return to your Calendar and the *Invitees* option should be there, it was for me...

Any update as to if the calendar invite feature will be added back with the next iOS7 upgrade? I use this feature all the time to setup up meetings and invite my family members so we all have it on our calendars. Why would this feature be removed?

I know that some mail services, such as hotmail, doesn't work great with calender. Personally I have icloud, so it works great with calender. As you can see I have an invitee menu.

I am having the same issues. My iphone keeps asking me for my password for iCloud. I enter it and it comes back 10 seconds later. That only started when I went through Kraftysob's process. My calendar is synced with my iCloud account (or so it says) and I am still unable to invite attendees to my calendar events.

Should i delete my iCloud account off my phone and start over again? This only recently started happening with the ios7.0.2 update.

As is normal, I post an issue and then find a solution....

Go to settings, then click on mail, calendars, contacts.

Go into each individual mail account and make sure the tab next to contacts is green

Navigate back to your calendar and you should see invitees between the repeat and alert tabs.

I've got the invitee option, can select contacts but there is no confirm button, when I return to the event the selection made is not persisted, very confused :(
