iOS 7 and smart cover

Hi there,

It looks like the smart cover sleep/wake up has stopped working after upgrading my iPad 4 to iOS 7.

Closing the cover does not put the iPad to sleep and lifting it does not wake it up.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Check that Settings > General > Lock / Unlock is turned on.

So, I have the same issue and my Lock is set to green (I assume that means 'on'). Other thoughts....

If Settings > General > Lock/Unlock is turned on, try rebooting the iPad. When I first changed the Lock/Unlock seting to on, my iPad still didn't turn off or on when I opened or closed the cover. But after a reboot, the new setting took effect.
