Sep 21, 2013 10:35 AM in response to Bob Maureenby UG64,Did you update iTunes first? Go to itunes.com or apple.com/itunes/ to download and install the latest version of iTunes. This latest version is required for working with iOS 7 devices.

Sep 21, 2013 4:09 PM in response to Bob Maureenby UG64,I think you are reading the version of OSX, iTunes requires at least OSX 10.6.8 to install, it should install.
The latest version for both Windows and Mac versions are 11.1. My Windows 7 64bit is 11.1.0.126 and my Windows XP 32bit is 11.1.0.126.
The iTunes page at Apple shows the OSX version of iTunes is also 11.1.
I recomend to download and install the latest version of iTunes again, so you can try recovering your iPad.
