It simply doesn't work. I can search for artist and apparently add it to the station, but then the edit is not saved.
worked yesterday for me - and still does on all devices - but now will NOT allow me to do EXACTLY the same thingon my wife's MacBook Pro. Troubling.....
I was able to do this once from my MBP, but never since. Doesn't work from my iPad, either. Will try from my phone....
Won't work on phone, either.

alas - not here.....still the same issue. Can create a single artist station but cannot add to it
I am experiencing the same issue. Created a Radio station a couple of days ago, wanted to add an artist to the one artist on the list but cannot. The search feature work in the list, it finds the artist, but clickin on the artist or any other artist does not add them to the Radio Station. Quitting out of iTunes didn't resolve this.
...and now inexplicably working this morning. Interrestingly enough all of the additional artists that we wanted to add yesterday and seemingly did nothing at that time NOW do show up in their respective "stations". I can only assume that the servers were innundated with people setting up playlists and it buffered for hours. Now effortlessly adding additional artists and creating stations

I saw this same thing. I'm on Windows 7. I created a couple stations, put a bunch of other artists in there, then when I opened iTunes later they weren't there. When I opened and closed iTunes they came back.
Why can't I add an artist to an iTunes Radio station?
