I can't find the ios 10.6 upgrade to download. can someone tell me exactly where to get it

10.6 is a Mac operating system, not IOS

ok, sorry, I have an IMAC desktop computer. Here is what happened, I wanted to upgrade my Itunes and it told me I needed 10.6.8 or higher. So I tried downloading that and it told me I need to have 10.6. But now I can't find the actual 10.6.
I am not very good at this stuff, so if someone can help me in the most basic terms that would be wonderful.
You will have to purchase the Snow leopard disk from the Apple online store. When you have installed it, you have to run software update to install 10.6.8.

After you order and receive the 10.6 installation package, you will be installing 10.6.3...after installation, you then click the apple at the left side of the menu bar, Software Update and you can download and install the Combo package to update to 10.6.8, the last of the 10.6 versions, found at http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399.
