1920 x 1080 on Retina

I don't have a retina iPad, so I'm asking anyone who does to let me know whether slides 1920 x 1080 appear fuzzy on a Retina display.

I need to make all of my slides HD dimensions because 2048 x 1536 slides look terrible on an HD monitor. There is no way to set Airplay/System Prefs to fill an HD screen without cropping the top and bottom or shrinking the slide. iPad’s retro 4:3 aspect ratio makes your slideshow look like an old SD (Standard Def) TV show.

On the other hand, a 1920 x 1080 slide appears nice and clean on a non-Retina iPad, even though it's letterboxed. How about on a Retina?
