Sep 21, 2013 4:17 PM in response to Tolga42by Kappy,You've already got them if both phones are using the same Apple ID. You can sync with iTunes to put them into the iTunes library. Then sync the other phone with iTunes to transfer them to the phone.
To get separate free copies on each phone, both phones must be using separate Apple IDs.

Sep 26, 2013 11:37 PM in response to Kappyby artman3211,I got the iPhone 5S but there is no iLife or iWork installed on it and the app store is asking for the full price. How can I get these app suites for free? I was never prompted to install them when I first started up the phone.

Sep 27, 2013 12:50 AM in response to artman3211by léonie,The apps should be free at the store, when you first sign in: About Free Apple Apps for iOS 7 compatible devices
Have you registered your device with Apple?
if you missed to register immediately, when you set up your phone, do so now at
https://supportprofile.apple.com/
Then the apps should become free at the App Store.
See this post: Re: iPhoto free.

Sep 28, 2013 7:17 AM in response to Tolga42by pottmi,These instructions are for iPhones and iPads purchased after September 1st and are experiencing a problem finding the free apps promised by Tim Cook...
You are probably experiencing a problem because you by passed an opportunity to download the apps enmasse.
No worries, there is an alternative:
You may download the apps indivdually.
Goto the appstore and search for:
Keynote, iphoto, imovie, numbers and pages
Each should appear free.
If they are not free, then goto settings -> App Store & iTunes, and log out and back in.

Sep 30, 2013 9:37 AM in response to Cindy Hillby XXpottmiXX,Call Apple support and when you figure it out, post what you learn here.

It took a couple of days for them to get back to me to log out of itune and back in again as a solution. Hopefully they will be faster for you.
They initially wanted me to reset my phone to factory, but I refused and asked to elevate the issue.

Sep 30, 2013 10:00 AM in response to Cindy Hillby artman3211,Thanks for the replies. I was able to fix the issue by calling Apple Care. They had me sign out and sign in from iTunes in the Settings - App Stoer & iTunes section. Once logging back in, I got a pop up of "suggested downloads" and the apps were there. If that does not work, they also gave me redeem codes for all the apps, which you can then enter on iTunes. Hope this helps.

Oct 3, 2013 12:58 AM in response to Tolga42by davidsdiego,The link below helped me! Of course it was buried in the iOS 7 App store on my iPhone 5s.

Oct 3, 2013 4:19 AM in response to davidsdiegoby fhall1,Thanks davidsdiego....the procedure at that link worked great (going to the app store, selecting "new to the app store", then scrolling down to "made by apple")...they showed up free there, whereas searching for them they showed full price.

Another variation worked for me: Even after following all the advice and steps above, searching the App Store for any of these (say, Pages) still showed the app as having a price (e.g., $9.99 for Pages).
But then I tried "Featured" (instead of "Search") in the App Store, and when the banner for Pages, Numbers, and Keynote scrolled across, I clicked on that. Then all these apps popped up with FREE next to them.
Hope this helps.
