Why isn't my iphone making any noises even if I put headphones. Ps I just updated to the new ios7

I just updated my phone yesturday and no sound is coming out if people try to ring me i can't hear them!! Please help!! Sounds arnt even coming out and my phone isn't on silent and I'm going to kill myself if there will be no sound forever!! My mum and dad will kill me! Help
