Why can I no longer watch music videos in full screen mode via a playlist in the music app since upgrading to ios7?

I used the playlist for videos for yrs now. Heres how i short cutted apple.

Go to your videos in your library, change media to podcast, if you arent able to change media, if its greyed out, highlight the videos that are not change able. in itunes on top menu bar, click file, create new version, then click for ipod or iphone. it makes a duplicate copy, then you change the media type of the new copy it made. select podcast.it wll the disappear and the original stays in your videos list. download the podcast app. resync your device with all podcasts checked on the phones tool bar and now you have analog video out from the podcast app, you cant shuffle, but video out works and you can skip to the next song with no problems, it will play in landscape mode as well like the old video player looked. it will also play the next song automaticly if you put them all in the on the go list in the podcast app you can have an order to which the will play. so you will use the podcast app as a video app. you may need to change a few setting to to subcribe to podcast or how to display your videos but i got mine to where im just like ios7 never happed, except the blinding colors.

When first upgrading to iOS 7 I wondered which nursery school had designed the main screen?

Some changes were good and some not so good (like the calendar ), as soon as I reached the music app and realised I could not play my music video's full screen, that was enough to rush back to iOS 6. I lost a lot of mail and texts but it was worth it.

I will not be going anywhere near iOS 7 till they rectify this.

One question apple, if your customers who have payed for music video and have been forced to watch them at the size of a postage stamp, will you refund their hard earned cash if their not satisfied?

You can watch in landscape mode but not shuffle music videos. If you manually search or your music video by title or artist from the "search box" drop down from the top or side on 4, you cN then watch in landscape mode.

I have the same problem! Hundreds of videoclips and now I can't use during my gym time everyday.

It is terrible! Especially because that was a good feature until IOS 6!!!!!

How can I do feedback to Apple about this problem???

ANSWER.

Apple changed the functionality in the music app and added the ability to view your music videos in the videos app. This works for both the iPad and iPhone and you can view in full screen. I hope this helps. Also an additional note, if you try to airplay a music video from your music app it doesn't work. It does however work from the video app.

Thanks, but no, it doesn't help. We knew they did that, but want it fixed, and instead of giving us back the feature we paid for, they censor our posts and ignore the issue. Not one rep has helped or called me back as promised. Posts have been deleted and still no resolution. Shame on Apple! I want iOS6 back because 7 has been an insult to customers like me who bought these products for this feature. Thanks though. :)

All same issues here going to samsung products apple you took away one of the best features of Apple and are no longer useable for me. ***** to have to get rid of 2 phones, 2 iPads, and Mac but Apple is no longer an option!

I am really disappointed with the decision made by Apple. I recently bought ipad mini and was very curious to display the content on my TV. But it just asks me to get satisfied with 4:3 display. I really hate the Black bars surrounded at the edges of the TV. Why would apple think so brainless? When they are upgrading an IOS they should make sure that it's gonna benifit the users but they left us with disappointment.

I had to convert the 1.5GB movie to MPEG-4 and then play it on the tv. This conversion takes atleast 2 to 3hrs and i'm bugged up. If the ipad mini or IOS 7 supported the fullscreen option then i prefer third party apps and install any format video and watch it on tv.

This is really so disappointing. Please change the settings the way it was. I purchased the AV adapter immeditaley thinking that this connector would give me full screen option.

I am really dissapointed about the "music" app. I origninally got an Iphone, so I'd have my phone and ipod in one. I go to the gym and watch music videos when they come on and used to flip the phone into landscape mode and I could watch my videos THAT I PURCHASED AT ITUNES, in FULL screen. Shouldn't I be able to watch videos I paid for Legally on MY DEVICE that I paid over $400.00 for with a 2 year contract?!?! Who is in charge over at Apple these days? Do they have a brain? Did they ask people if they wanted a new "music" app? WE ARE GOING BACKWARDS APPLE! I swear, you have to watch everything these days. Nothing seems to work better. Yeah, its a little faster, so it can crash. I don't remember turning my Iphone 4S off this much at all. Today for example I was listening to music, and every time I would go back to texts or mail the music would stop, and I would have to press my headphones to start it again.. Really? I had to reset my phone during my workout. I am really sick of Apple changing products for the worst. Fix the bugs and listen to your customers!!!

Appel I couldn't be more disappointed with this. I buy music videos from you so I can have the videos play in landscape mode wile I listen to randome music. Please fix this issue before you loos customers over this. On both my iPad and I phone. All we want is our Origenal functionality back why did you take this away. It seams each update you have been giving us messes with the parts we like most. We want to watch our music videos WE BUY FROM YOU to work in Landscape mode in our music playlist again please fix before we upgrade to a diffrent carrer!

Oh great. She'll out money for what was an included function in iOS6. Also notice the voice to text function is gone from email function. **** Apple. Can't wait until my contract is up.

Hey thanks to lots of upset apple customers, God answered our wishes and had Apple create a brand new app for the iPhone and iPad called "Music Video" that uses your playlists of videos and lets you play all your videos randomly in landscape mode!!!!!!! This is awesome! Thank You Apple! This is how it used to be with the old operating system.
