Q: Apple TV 3 does not update

For one reason or another, when I tried to update my Apple TV 3 to the new iOS 6, it failed during the install. It told me to restart my ATV and try it again. Now it says that it is up to date (Apple TV Software 5.3, and OS Build Version 6.1.4). Is there a way to push the new update from my computer to the ATV? Anyone else having this issue?

I'm having a similar issue. When I check for an update, I'm told my ATV is up to date.

Thanks I did search, but didn't see my particular problem. I had no issues updating as my Apple TV tells me that it is up to date, thus I don't run into problems updating since it isn't updating at all.
