Sep 26, 2013 1:58 PM in response to Rezachiby MrMoosickle,I'm having a similar problem with reminders on my iPad3 after upgrade to IOS7. Added to this my Notes are not synching from the iPad either. Both Apps will synch between the iMac and iPhone5, which is also on IOS7. But nothing pushes to the iPad and nothing that I create in the iPad will go the other devices. Very frustrating.
On the iPad notes and reminders do not appear in the background app refresh list.
I have tried removing the mail accounts but this makes no difference to the notes app. All the settings for mail look right, notes settings have the correct account as default. I'm at a loss now ...... Next step is to wipe the iPad and start again .... Unless I get any suggestions here.

Sep 26, 2013 4:15 PM in response to Rezachiby JdRule,OK, SOLUTION! Chances are, you have an Outlook (Exchange) mail service synced to your iphone. Mine was my work email. This is what's causing the problem.
If you go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>select the Exchange/Outlook email you have set up> turn Reminders OFF for that email account.
I did this and my location reminders work perfectly again. I tested it leaving work and arriving home. Both worked again!

Sep 27, 2013 6:24 AM in response to Rezachiby Richard Field,I'm having a similair issue on my iPhone 5, reminders in iOS6 used to sync with no problems however after my update to 7 my reminders do not update when I create a new one on either iCloud.com or my iPad. I have tried all solutions in this thread and nothing works, oddly reminders does not show up under 'background app refresh' and is does not show up in the section 'use mobile data for' under the mobile data settings (Calender, and notes boht appear)

Sep 27, 2013 8:12 AM in response to Tic_Tacby umparrothead,Looks like we have more than one issue expressed in this thread. One of which can be resolved by disabling Reminders in all Exchange accounts, the other, still unknown. Good find @JdRule!

Sep 30, 2013 9:31 AM in response to Rezachiby thomasbricker,Im having the same problem.
Nothing works to get the iPhone 5 to sync with Reminders, unless I make a change to a to do on the iPhone.
Then it forces Reminders to refresh.
NOT good.
This seems like a flat out bug.
There should be a Refresh button.

Sep 30, 2013 11:49 AM in response to thomasbrickerby typedesignnerd,I agree, a refresh swipe is needed. I'm pretty sure that was how the old OS worked.

Sep 30, 2013 12:01 PM in response to typedesignnerdby thomasbricker,Apple, are you seeing this?
This syncing is not quite working correctly.
Please fix it.
The "Things" app syncs much more reliably.
But I want to use Reminders.

Sep 30, 2013 3:41 PM in response to thomasbrickerby Tic_Tac,I'm definitely back to using "Things". We all know (at least those who've tried it) that it is a better, and much more advance app for To Do lists. And guess what... it synchronizes well!!!

Sep 30, 2013 6:36 PM in response to Rezachiby AnnieTune5,I am also having problems with reminders not syncing between devices over iOS 7. However, both my iPhone 5 AND my iPad w/Retina have the problem. If I add to my iPad, it will show up in my iMac (running OS X 10.8.5) reminders but not on my iPhone. If I make a change on my iPhone, my iMac will sync but iPad will not.
As others have noted, if I make any kind of change to a reminder in whichever of the devices has not synced, it will force a sync at that time. But this is a "work around" rather than a "fix". I would greatly appreciate Apple fixing this issue in an update. I rely too heavily upon Reminders to have it be this buggy.
Also, none of the other proposed "fixes" in this thread have solved the problem for me.

Oct 2, 2013 12:38 AM in response to AnnieTune5by homo2013,I hope apple is working on this. I am having the same sort of trouble. Everything is fine on my iPhone and on my Macbook, but on my iPad3 reminder sync is EXTREMELY slow (background refresh does not seem to work at all) since the upgrade to iOS7.

Oct 2, 2013 8:55 AM in response to Rezachiby jfgribbin,I have an iPhone 5 with iOS 7 & a MBP Mid-2012 with ML fully updated. My reminders will only sync when changes are made on the phone. If I make changes via the Reminders app in ML or via the iCloud website they do not sync. Making any kind of change on the phone causes them all three to update. I don't see anyway to make the iPhone app update other than typing a new item or removing. There doesn't appear to be any pull to refresh options in the app.

Oct 2, 2013 3:38 PM in response to Rezachiby amaninspired,I am also having the same issue on my iPhone 4S and iPad (fourth generation). I have updated each of them to iOS 7.0 .2.
Reminders do not seem to refresh properly when I open the application and I had a location based reminder said today that would not remove itself from the list on my iPhone 4S – even though it was marked as complete.
I really hope the reminders app is fixed soon and solution found, as I use it a lot. It does seem that entering the calendar app forces a refresh of the reminders app as well, but that's a less than satisfactory solution. I have also tried leaving the reminders app running in the background, which seems to improve things, but I don't understand why the app doesn't simply refresh when you first open it. A force refresh pull down within the app would also be helpful.
