I cannot get some of my podcasts store in itunes to sync with my iphone with the IOS7 podcast app

I keep deleting and trying to re-add - but I cannot get some of my podcasts to sync to the iphone with the new app. Plus then when some do get to the iphone they will not play. Any ideas?

iPhone 4S, iOS 7
