I pre ordered an album on itunes and when it came out it just says purchased but I cant download it

I pre ordered an album on itunes and when it came out it just says purchased on my pc and iphone but i cant download it or buy it again to try and download it? this is the first time i pre ordered an album what am I doing wrong?
