front row on old thompson 42" plasma

I've atteched my new Intel Mac Mini to my old 42" Plasma Thompson with only vga adapter, and I've got a problem.
With Front Row, when I start a dvd, the aspect ratio is not the right one and the movie is stretched! 😟
The same is with divx.
Maybe the problem is the resolution of the plasma?
Is there any possibility to modify the aspect ratio of the source I'm looking at?
Thanx in advance and sorry for my "desperate" English :P

LOL
no prob m8
I've tried also that before posting but since my plasma is an old one, there are only few res I can choose... and with any I choose, the problem is the same.
I can (maybe) understand with divx, but dvd has only one res. With my stand alone player I've no probs and the dvds are normally displayed on my plasma...
Only with my mac there are probs 😟
Btw, I had a pc before the mac and in "normal" use was the same thing (not nice res) but when I was watching movies, there weren't problems 😟
