Since installing IOS7 Maps will not load map images

My Maps app will drop pins, find directions, and locate my position, but it will not load the map image since I downloaded IOS7. All I am getting are the grid lines. Google maps works fine in Safari, but I like the Maps app. I have closed all the apps and done a hard reboot twice now with no apparent effect. Anybody have any idea how to solve this?
