After iOS 7 update, Why does my iPhone 5 suddenly report that the cable that works perfectly well, is unofficial and then make the music all distorted. It worked fine before hand. Please fix this bug.

After performing an iOS 7 update, my iPhone 5 (that worked perfectly before iOS7!) now reports that the cable I'm using is unofficial and the music when connected to my car via USB, now sounds as though it's playing underwater. This is very obviously a software issue, designed to push me to pay £30 for a 1 metre cable with 2 poxy resistors in it. Not happy Apple...not happy at all.
