I updated my phone to the iOS 7 and now my camera won't focus...I've tried everything, help! I use it daily.

Have you tried resetting the phone by holding down the sleep/wake button and the home button until the apple appears?
Yes I have and it didn't change anything.
I have the exact same problem - my front iPhone 5 camera won't focus since updating to iOS7. I've tried reset and restart... Any solutions other than reinstalling? It's really annoying!
Has anyone found a solution to this problem. it's very very annoying! this happens to my iphone5 (not the latest model) and it only applies to the back camera. My ipad mini's camera is fine. Apple needs to be get this sorted ASAP!! I am surprised that not that many people have reported this issue online??
Try taking the phone with front facing camera trying to focus on you and tap it against your hand or side of head works to (it is a little harder). It should unstick the lens and voila, focusing again.
Happened to me too
Hey - I had this issue (as mentioned above). I took my phone in the the Genius Bar, they tried pretty much everything and it ended up being a hardware issue and was replaced under warranty. Hope that helps someone else!
Hi - I was wondering if you found a solution to this problem. I purchased the phone (iPhone 4S) solely for its camera and was loving it until this IOS 7 update! Before the update I was able to tab on the screen and the camera would automatically adjust the focusing (lighting) letting me take great photos. The change of focus was quite dramatic before. Now this feature is completely gone! I tab different corners of the screen and nothing happens. I'm pretty sure this is related to the IOS 7 update but don't know what to do about it. Any advice?
Genius Bar told me same thing as kisforkathryn... only mine is not under warranty :-(

Just tried this and it worked! I hit the side of the iphone on the heel of my hand and checked and the focus was fixed!
Had the same issue, hadn't noticed that before. But as Matheau1620 suggested, lightly knocking on the side of the phone where the camera sits brings it back to focus. Worked for me, used my knuckles to fix it.

Hilarious! This actually worked. My head seems to be just the right hardness to unstick the camera lens without damaging the phone. Kudos!
