Q: How do i add apps to cellular data?

I have been tring to add programs to cellular data its not working can someone help me?Thanks

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities@

If the app was made with cellular data usage functionality, it will be listed in Settings > Cellular.

Go to Settings > Cellular, then turn cellular data on or off for any app that can use cellular data.

    I've successfully done this to turn OFF some apps that I only want to use with wifi. But now every time I open one of these apps -- such as Podcasts -- I get an alert notifying me that cellular data is turned off and offering me a link to Settings to change that.

     

    I *know* that it's turned off. I turned it off myself. I can understand such a notification the first time I open an app. But it's really annoying to get it EVERY time I open it. Any ideas on how to turn off these "helpful" alerts that are NOT helpful?

    On my iPad Air, running iOS 7.0.4, the only app appearing on this list is FaceTime. Mail seems to be using cellular data, but Safari will not. I presume Safari should always use cellular data when there's no Wi-Fi present. How can I repopulate this list with all the apps that could be using cellular data?
