Q: Air print problem after iOS7 update

After iOS7 update, I can no longer air print to my HP printer.  I can see "Recently used printer", but when I try to print, the message says it is off line.  i have rebooted iPad, router, and printer to no avail.  The printer works fine with my PC.  Help me, please?

Your problem may be with the iOS7 printer queue, at least it was for me.  A print job may have been interrupted or have crashed for some reason.  Here is what worked for me when I couldn't find anything else wrong:

Double click on the home button and the swipe to the right until you get to the "print center" icon on the bottom left corner of the screen.

Once there, delete one by one everything from the print queue until it is empty.

If your problem is the same as mine, you should now be able to print with no problem.

Is see this post is from 18 months ago - but the procedure of restarting my iPhone 6 (iOS 8.3) to make it "see" my AirPrint printer worked for me, so thanks.

Thanks Apple for not mentioning this simple method of alleviating this irritating problem ....
