Q: iTunes deletes all songs in an album when I delete one song!

Okay, so this happened to me twice today so it's not a fluke. I'm using the newest version of iTunes. I needed a song to be a mp3 file, so I converted it into one and dragged it out of iTunes. Then, I deleted that new mp3 song- and when I did, all the other (non-mp3) songs in that song's album disappeared from my iTunes! The whole album, gone. And when I check my trash, only the deleted mp3 song is there. Why is this happening, and where can I find these alnum songs that have now gone missing?

Hello tomspoon

Check in the Music Folder of your computer to locate the songs there, then just drag it back onto iTunes.

The missing music is not there. When I search my entire computer and trash, it is not there. This just happened again, I was trying to delete one song in an album and the entire album disappeared. No are you sure you want to delete message or anything, just gone! Why is iTunes doing this?? It seems to be an issue with the newest iTunes. Is there no way to recover these missing files?
