Q: So according with this, no internet is requiered to Airplay a Keynote?

I mean I just want to connect my Apple TV to the Projector and stream my Keynote App from my iPhone.

It will take place in a building with no Internet, but I have an Airport Express, an Apple TV and a cable HDMI - VGA to make the connection.

In a few words I send my keynote via Airplay to the Apple TV, it send it to the projector via cable and that's it!!! a wireless keynote!!! But no Internet !!

Am I right??

That's correct, you will only need an internet connection when trying to use protected content, otherwise all you need is a local network.

I've used a keynote over AirPlay many times at my office and it has always worked well. Both the Apple TV and my iPad are no further than 12 feet away from the router. We do have internet at our office but this doesn't have any effect on how well it works. The other area were my set up differs to yours is that I have a TV with an HDMI connection.

I'm assuming that HDMI to VGA cable is the one Apple have in store for use with the Apple TV or one similar, not all cables will work.

Well you have given all the information I was looking for.

And yes the best is HMDI to HMDI, but this university is still using the old method (VGA).

The cable is not the original Apple sells but have worked fine before.
