APPLE TV UPDATED YESTERDAY AND NOW IT WONT WORK WHAT'S GOING ON?

updated apple tv yesterday - involuntary update - and now it's showing a graphic that looks like it's unplugged when it is not. Is this a problem with this update? And if so, is there a solution?
