movie rental problems Apple TV

Apple TV upgraded with iOS7 (latest update) but movie rentals do not show up in Main Menu "Movies" as they did previously. Once played or stopped when playing they disappear. When you try to rent again the dialogue says it was previously rented, go to Setting, General, Downloads to retrieve. There is no Downloads.

Also can not pause movie rentals but can pause TV Shows and all previews.

Any suggestions?

Hi, same problem here!

I watched World War Z (rental) until the last 20 minutes, then went to menu and now I get the same message. Never had that problem before. Clicking on rent again give the message to go to settings and download it. Using the "check for rentals" button in settings just load forever without any results.

PS: 24h rental period was still running, so it's not that.

How can I fix this?

THX

We have the same problem. Nothing seems to work. We've tried a hard reset, restart within the apple tv itself. I've tried to find the rental on my iMac, iPad etc. so I can stream it back to my apple tv - but nothing. The money has been taken from my account, and it shows on my itunes purchase history, but I've only managed to watch 60 mins of a 2 hour film!!! FFS

I have apple support online and let them now several of us have this problem. He suggested signing out of iTunes and back in which I have done already prior to the call in addition to trying to reset device which Quinta had already tried above. I informed him that none of these things work and that several of us feel it is related to update. He was at a loss and said he would investigate with his superiors and get back to me. Will keep you posted.

USMCLM seems to have come to the same conclusion I did. Did have a brief email dialogue with Apple Help but other than getting a credit for the lost rental movie they where unsure as to why the issue occurred.

Updated, signed out and back in to iTunes and rebooted Apple TV and things seem back to normal. Hopefully next rental will function properly. Pause function has returned to previously purchased movies.

Thx for suggestions.
