Problems if I uninstall 10.3.9 and intall 10.2

I'm running 10.3.9 on a Wallstreet (with a 500MHz aftermarket CPU) using XPostfacto.

I want to uninstall OS 10.3.9 and go back to 10.2.

Is this going to cause me problems with loss of user files or incompatibilities?
Any other problems?

Is there a recommended procedure for going backwards like this?

(I believe I've seen similar discussions years ago but was unable to find any today when I looked.)

thanks,
Pat

Hi Sherry.
That helped a lot.

I followed your suggestion (confirmed in various Apple documents). I archived everything and have reimported some apps manually and applications seem to be working well.

Only problem at the moment is finding some messages in Apple Mail.

I used the Import command in Mail itself and imported the old mailboxes but seem to be missing some recent messages nad the entire contents of one or two mailboxes (Sent Mail). This seems very odd to me.

Can anyone think of a reason and solution for this?

thanks,
Pat
