Q: Little girl forgot password to ipad mini with IOS 7 installed and with find my ipad on, how can I restore?

My lovely little girl has fotgotten her password to her Ipad mini with ISO 7 and find my ipad on. How can I reset?

Tried standard restore mode and comes up with message "This devise isn't eligible for the requested build?

iPad, iOS 7, iPad mini

Use a computer to go to http://www.icloud.com

Sign on using your Apple ID and password. Go to Find My iPhone, locate your iPad there, and choose "Remove from account".

Still no go? When I turn the ipad on it asks for a password, this is the one she has forgotten?
