why does logic remote support link takeyou to logic pro support and not remote support, why does logic remote support link takeyou to logic pro support and not remote support

what on earth is this about - how can we find out what logic remote does?

Can it store sounds from mainstage 3?

Do you need to take your mainstage 3 lap top with you if you want to use ipad logic remote live?

Where is the page that clearly outlines Logic remote and its capabilities with Mainstage 3?

Mainstage 3 has lots of great key sounds - can you use the ipad logic remote app to use them or do you have to have lap top with mainstage alongside?

Where is all this info located - all sales and support links lead back to logic pro NOT logic remote - UBER frustrating...

Logic Remote is an iPad application for use with Logic Pro X and not Mainstage 3..

Info on Logic Remote can be found via the iOS App Store....

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/logic-remote/id638394624?mt=8

Logic Remote is a free app

Further info can be found here....

Again, it has nothing to do with Mainstage 3 and does not work with Mainstage 3.

Thx for your reply - man that was kryptonite trying to reply for the first time, no option from the response I was sent and nightmare finding I had to login find to my discussions... Rad man?

Anyway - well if you had read the question u probably might hav answered it? Why not read the question? Rad man?

I'm trying to find out why all the logic remote links lead u to Logic Pro and no info bout REMOTE!!!

It's obvious they are trying to sell logic but I am really interested to know whether to buy another ipad for remote. Like where is the info on remote?????

Did u check the links u sent me. Pls do - its a laugh.. 1. Goes straight to Logic Pro (as stated in the question) 2. Goes straight to a paid site for info? Your suggesting I pay money to get the answer? Radical man?

Please read what I asked.. Can remote play sounds from mainstage- if they are on logic... Trying to save bringing laptop to gig. Can u use remote alone with synth sounds for a keyboard live?

Where is the info about Remotes capabilities - not logic. I know it's a remote for logic? Radical?

Chad,

Please read what I wrote.. in which I answered almost all your questions with the exception of why certain links take you to the Logic Pro support info (and that is because Logic Remote is considered part of Logic Pro and so supoport for it can be found via the LPX support section)

The info on the remote is, as i said, found in those links I posted..

Neither link goes straight to Logic Pro.... so you are doing something wrong somehow.

The first link takes you to the iPad App Store link for Logic Remote that gives you clear basic info... and the second link takes you to a website item on how to use Logic Remote that you do NOT have to pay for.. just scroll down for the info.... (Note Im note talking about the videos.. I am refering to the info below the videos you can scroll down to find)

The remote is a remote control for Logic Pro so no it doesn't work without Logic Pro being run on a Mac... (I have no idea why you would think otherwise had you read anything about Logic Remote)

Again, LR has nothing to do with Mainstage..... if you can play sounds in Logic Pro you can play them with the LR.

Just in case you aren't able to see the Info on LR on the App Website...
