With my MBP, this wasn't an issue, but with an Air, I ended up having to move my music to an external harddrive. Fine for when I'm at home, but at work I'm without 99% or so of my music. Even the purchased stuff isn't all in there. Seeing as I sync while at work, I'm thus also without my music on my iPhone; another big minus obviously.

This blows, and Apple must know this? If the deal is already signed, why not open this up. These are three of the richest countries in the world, with some of the highest numbers of Apple users as a percentage in the world, so I'm struggling to understand the logic here?
