iMessage will not work on my iPad 3 having updated to ios 7, says not connected to internet - can anybody help?

I'm having same problem also cannot access iMessage , I have iPad mini,reading blogs looks like an apple problem. Has anyone managed to fix it?
Not yet, do let me know if you have a solution. Tried changing passwords as had hoped that could be the problem. Have not put ios7 onto my mac or iphone yet as concerned it will mess those systems up too.
I have the same problems with the ipad mini 3, no access to iMessage en FaceTime, I tried different apple Id's but until now no access.
