Oct 2, 2013 2:38 PM in response to Alex Ieongby Andy4567346,I'm having exactly the same issue - Windows 8 Pro 64-bit, iCloud Control Panel 3.0 - Shared Streams work fine, but My Photo Stream won't download or sync deletions or additions. I've tried signing in/out, reinstalling, changing the "iCloud Photos" folder location (I've also had the "1 item with unsupported format" error when doing this), but nothing works.
Worked fine with iCloud Control Panel 2.x.. My iOS devices (iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPad Retina 3rd gen) all on iOS 7 sync no problems.
Does anyone know where I can download the previous iCloud Control Panel for WIndows (version 2.1.2 I think)?

I tried uninstall, reinstall. change defalt directory as well as streaming on and off then log off and log in
but just share streaming appears but no new photoes.
I think new icloud 3 is causing issue.
one time 240 pictures came but mixed from past no new and showing these all in today's stream heading.
need help searching for two days but no success.

Oct 3, 2013 6:38 AM in response to Alex Ieongby huanwlisa,I just tried solution as below:
1, delete all your photo streams including shared streams( unsubscribe other shared streams) at your IOS devices or iPhoto on your mac, you can back up your photos in advance.
2, wait until all your devices sync as empty in your photostreams.
3, sign out at CP in your PC.
4, sign in at CP , take a pic to try if photo streams works.
I tried this workaround just now and it works.
( win7 64bit CP3.0, iphone4,5 ,ipad2, ipad mini with IOS7, ipod touch with IOS6)

Oct 7, 2013 10:57 AM in response to Alex Ieongby pepms,I tried everything and this was the only thing that worked for me:
- Open Task Manager (ctrl, alt and delete) and end ApplePhotoStream.exe and AppltPhotoStreamDownloader.exe if they're running.
- Go to your Users folder and navigate to the following path: C:\Users\Dean\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MediaStream\ - Obviously my user folder is Dean but yours will be the user that you're logged into Windows as.
- Delete everything in that folder.
- log out of icloud, and then log in and re-activate the photos option
- it should start downloading again your photos

Oct 10, 2013 10:52 AM in response to Alex Ieongby dpalmans,I have exactly the same issue.
De-install, re-install, I only get 5 pictures in my photo stream folder. The other share folders seems OK. They get all the pictures, BUT... I also found that some pictures, about 20 on 465, have the WRONG DATE. These are older pictures, and suddenly they get the day of the download!
What's going on? All these troubles strated with the last icloud control panel update. ALL was fine for a few years before this update!!
APPLE please FIX this!

Oct 10, 2013 1:09 PM in response to Alex Ieongby YanivMD,Well the only thing that works for me (FINALLY) was un-installing 3.0 and returning to the good old 2.1.
Specifically to do this i had to remove 3.0, install 2.1, at this point i got some sort of mixed 3.0\2.1 icons, and then uninstall 2.1 restart and reinstall 2.1 finally did that trick.

Oct 10, 2013 1:37 PM in response to Alex Ieongby RSRP1,I have exactly the same issues, tried uninstall etc etc. My problem is not only do the iCloud photos not appear at least 75% of the time when I open the iCloud photos folder windows explorer crashes. Oct 10, 2013 4:18 PM in response to pepmsby dpalmans,I tried that, I just got 10% of the pictures I should have in "my photo stream".
The shared photo stream are still strange too. I do get all the pictures, but several have the wrong date! They are old pictures and they show today's date!
BUGGY!
