Oct 20, 2013 12:50 AM in response to ClassicalJeffby Alex Ieong,After using default iCloud Photos path, it worked fine for a while. It stopped working again when I upgraded to Windows 8.1. My solution is just signed out and remove iCloud Photos" in the default path, and then signed in and sync to the default path again.
We need final solution!! Please!

A little survey, is anybody using Picasa and let it scan the iCloud Photos folder? Not sure if it's related, anyway.

Oct 20, 2013 12:51 PM in response to Alex Ieongby Flash04,OK, reading this I do not feel stupid anymore. I spend the whole day to get photo stream running. Finally the PC of my wife started syncing ! but only 80% of the content. My PC doesn't do anything. I stop trying now. Hope this works in a week or two ...
Together with the sloppy & buggy iOS7 release (using a 64GB Retina iPad) I am afraid that we are seeing the end of an aera. At least, with quality converging to mainstream there is no more justification of these extraordinary prices ...

Oct 21, 2013 7:10 AM in response to syed najafby mrblurgle,Short story for me is that it downloadsphotos for a while (15-40 minutes) after signing out and in witht he iCloud control panel, then stops. (or maybe just generates a lot of network traffic to compare with photos that ar ealready downloaded). If I sign out and in again it starts from scratch again.
I logged a support case and have been promised that it will be escalated to engineers or somebody and they may contact me to place software in debug mode. No response yet but only been a couple of days.
I'd suggest lodging a support case as the people I spoke to hadn't heard of this problem but did browse the web and find discussions like this which they agreed indicated it was a systemic issue.
Thanks

Oct 21, 2013 3:59 PM in response to mrblurgleby TCB64,My level 2 Tech Chris is forwarding commend in this thread to the engineers. he is perplexed about why the engineers are not responding...it's been 3 weeks already....he and his mgr have escalated this case to "people higher up.". I am not optimistic about any quick fix....I think iCloud 3.0 likely has a big bug...and that this is just ones piece of it....the engineers need to work together on this (not piecemeal)--AND WE NEED TO BE INFORMED OF THEIR PROGRESS--OR LACK OF PROGRESS.....

Oct 22, 2013 6:02 PM in response to Alex Ieongby konfusionstar,After reading this forum, I no longer feel crazy. I kept trying all the fixes I read in tons of forums and was getting no where. Photostream just randomly adds photos and a large amount are missing. I eventually just switched to dropbox for saving photos, but I really hope Apple comes up with a solution. Photostream is so much more convenient across my ipads and iphone5s. I am experiencing this faulty photostream with Windows 7 and icloud 3.0. Apple, please fix this!!

Oct 23, 2013 1:07 PM in response to syed najafby pepms,At the end the only real working solution for me was downgrading back to iCloud panel 2.1.2, working perfectly for a week and not going to upgrade until they release a fix for this issue...

Oct 23, 2013 1:17 PM in response to Alex Ieongby icngacsn,Just got off the phone with iCloud support. They do not even acknowlede that there is a problem. I said just type "My Photo Stream not working on Windows" into Google and you'll see the number of people having issues. The nice lady said "We are not allowed to use Google here"....
