Not trying to be critical, but that tells me virtually nothing. I have no real sense of how you are setting it up and attempting to use it, nor any real idea of your level of experience. I'd like to help, but since I am not seeing this issue with my iPhone 5 (or iPad 3rd gen), nor is anyone I personally know, the first troubleshooting direction needs to be examining the set up before assuming any other causative factors. You may well have it set up correctly, but I have no way of knowing that. And have you tried a reset as previously suggested?

I am also having similar issues with DND as Cissymama80 and Ufgator13. I have the 4S and every option i try, i still receive a phone call despite DND on. I've put it on always silent, and also allow calls from no one, and i still get phone calls. I've also tried leaving the phone locked for 10 mins (even though mine locks after 1 min) and i still get calls ringing in. Its frustrating because it worked fine before in IOS 6.

Also I've restored my phone and installed the latest version of IOS (ver. 7.0.2) and i still have the same issues. It turns out that my brother's 4S is also experiencing the same issues. Must be a bug in IOS 7... i hope they can find the error and fix it soon because besides this thread, i havent found any other site complaining about this issue.

@Ufgator13 Have you tried a Reset All Settings reset? Settings => General => Reset => Reset All Settings.

You will not lose any content, but you will have to reset all the settings you have turned on or off in Settings.

Remember to switch email from Push to Manual Fetch. Push email killed my battery when I forgot to turn it on. I check email often enough on my phone that I don't need to have it pushed to me.

The Reset All Settings reset has been clearning up a lot of the issues people have been having.

I am also having the same problem. I also have a 4s. I have tried everything posted and still calls get through. The only calls that are silenced are unknown numbers, for some reason do not disturb only works for these. Any other number that is not unknown or blocked (whether it's part of my contacts or not) gets through.

My wife's 4s is also doing the same thing. To replicate the problem I set my phone to dnd and set no scheduled times, allow calls from no one, repeated calls to off and silence calls to always. I called my phone using my wifes phone and the call came through. I then set my wife's caller I'd to hide her number and then called my phone again and this time dnd worked. So it only seems to work with numbers that are not displayed, all other numbers get through regardless of any dnd settings.

This is extremely frustrating, any solutions would be appreciated.

BTW I also tried this on my brothers iphone 5 and his phone had no problems. Maybe it's a 4s issue??? Who knows, all I know is that b4 ios7 dnd worked perfectly.

That's a good question. Other then this thread I have not been able to find anyone else talking about this issue in ios7. I hope that it's not missed or ignored thinking that its not a widespread problem. I know for a fact that it;s entirely an ios7 issue because my dnd worked fine prior to ios7 (btw I have the most recent update installed 7.0.2)

Anyone else who is reading this thread and also experiencing this or similar dnd issues needs to share their experiences in hope that apple reads these and is able to correct the problem.

I just turned on mine and tried it again. I called myself from my landline (I am not a favorite of myself, which is true on so many levels) and had one friend call me who is not a favorite and one who is. The non-favorites went right to voice mail and it made no sound on my phone. The favorite came through.

This was with the phone locked and asleep.
