Person who bought my ipod touch 5 that I RESET says that whenhe tries to put in his apple id, it says that id not associated withthis ipod. Put in id that IPOD was SET UP with. ? If it was reset why would it need that? I also removed it from my devices initunes.

I think you want to do a Restore not a Reset. Look at the support article. I hope this helps.
Either:
- Connect the iPod to your computer as restore to factory settings/new iPod and then set it up with your ID and media
iTunes: Restoring iOS software
- Or go to Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and setting and set it up with your iD and media
Well although I deleted the pod from my itunes, it needed to be deleted from iCloud, which I had never used. Uses the same login, seems like it could of deleted it from both at the same time.
