Problem syncing photostream in ios 7

Upgraded to ios 7 on my iPhone 4s and photos no longer push to my photostream on Wi-Fi. They just stay on the phone's camera roll.

I can select them and share to my stream but am only given the option to post them to a shared stream.

Anyone else experiencing this? Got solutions?

I have the same problem on all my devices two 4s, iPad 2, latest AppleTv. Called apple support and they had me turn off photostream on my devices. Now I lost all my old photos on photostream and I still have the same problem. Then they wanted me to restore all my devices. No thanks apple. Their motto should be "It just doesn't work." Apple has an icloud problem and they have us restore our devices. Nice solution.

Updating my four AppleTvs also resulted in three of them bricking. Luckily restoring with a PC fixed them, however I lost my custom remote settings along with having to login to everything again on the devices equals wasted time.

For the time being, sync them to a computer via USB. That's the second method for copying photos to a computer (which all users should do to archive their photos). The first method is photo stream (which seems broken for you). I also have a 4s, but my upgrade to iOS 7 worked without a hitch, PS still working.

Did you try a reboot: press and hold the home and power buttons until the Apple icon is displayed, then let go.

Update:

Went on chat with Apple Support and solved it. It seems that I got kicked off the cloud once iOS 7 was installed on my phone. Turned off photostream, restarted the phone, turned sharing back on and now it works.

Any photos I took while in iCloud limbo for 3 days remain unsynced, but all photos from the past 30 days in the cloud were restored to the stream on my phone. All photos previously synced in iPhoto on my laptop were fine.

A pain the *** yes, but not the end of the world.

Hi Flaneur_mtl ... I think my problem is the same. The bizarre thing is that some of my photos go from Camera Roll to PhotoStream, and some don't. And then when I go into iPhoto on my MacBook, it's like the photos that did make it into PhotoStream aren't downloaded to iPhoto in MacBook. All of that to say ... when you mentioned above that you "restarted the phone" did you mean you just turned it off/on, or did a hard reset? Also, when you "turned sharing back on" do you mean you just turned PhotoStream back on, or do you mean the "Photo Sharing" under General Settings/Photos & Camera? I'm assuming you meant PhotoStream but not sure.

Thanks in advance if you have time to answer!

Same problem. I had to sign out of my icloud on my computer and sign back in. Once I did it showed that it was sending my photostream to a diff folder. I went to that folder on my computer and "enabled icloud photo" and then suddenly all my pix started to show up. It now appears to be working. Hope this helps someone. (FYI I had backed up my photos the old way by manual syncing before I started messing around and lost them for good.)
