Go to "Settings > iCloud" then scroll down and press the button "Delete Acccount" (this will delete the account from your device). Then try to set up your account again by signing in with your new email address.
Will that delete everything that is in my "iCloud" account? I don't want to erase that...
I have this problem too... Have tried to delete the old account -- can't delete the old account until I can verify it. And I can't verify it because icloud is stuck in a loop: waiting for verification from the original email it sent out to a non-existent email address.
Oh my... I am stuck in the same loop. I changed my Apple Id succesfully, but the iCloud ID is not changed at the same time. Which I find rather strange. But how do you get out of this loop?
