I am subscribed to a calendar that is hosted as part of my webspace package. It has been synching just fine either way for months. I now ran into a problem with invites.
I created an event on my iPad mini (iOS7) and added one of my other e-mail addresses as a particpant to see how the whole setup behaves. I later deleted the event. However, the account used as the participant is since receiving an e-mail for the event every time I use the calendar app on my iPad. The event is not visible in the iPad calendar anymore, it is not visible in the web interface to the calendar on the host's server, and the host company could not find any of its systems triggering the dispatch of such messages in their analysis.
Does anyone have an idea of what could have happened and how to fix this?
