sync music
My computer recognizes the iPod shuffle all right, but I cannot select iTunes devices, because the filed is not highlighted. therefore, i can not cync music. Does it mean the iPod shuffle is corrupted? Any advice? Miro
iPod shuffle
If you are trying to use the "sync device" command from the menu bar, you need to have the iPod selected in iTunes.
If the iTunes sidebar (along left side of window) is hidden, from the menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar. When connected, the shuffle appears in the sidebar, under DEVICES. Click it there to select it.
You see a row of buttons, starting with Summary, where you set up how iTunes automatically syncs the shuffle. For example, to set up music syncing, click on Music there (next to Summary).
Once the shuffle is selected in iTunes, the commands from the menu bar related to Devices become enabled. But the sync command there does the same thing as clicking the Sync button at the lower right corner of the window.
