i would like to be able to turn off the shared links funcitonality between my twitter feed and safari. Does someone know if this is possible or would i just have to sign out of twitter on my phone. i would prefer to keep signed on and just have shared links turned off.
Open the settings app and find the Twitter app in the left-hand column. Delete the account for the iPad.
This does not delete your Twitter account, just its connection to Safari.

If the iPhone 5 is not the same as the iPad, then I don't know. I don't have an iPhone.
I did delete my twitter account from my phone. However when I log back into the twitter app it it automatically adds it back to Safari. Any other thoughts?
Contact Twitter and ask them to add a feature to remove these links. As it is now, that's all you can do.
Or perhaps just don't open that section of bookmarks.
