iphone 5s bubble level can not be calibrated

I get the same - 3 Degress on it's side, but - 4 Degrees on flat on it's back.

My 5S is miscalibrated too. It reads -2° on its side and -4° on its back, with the same readings after rotating 180°. I hope Apple addresses this with a software update that allows the device to be recalibrated at a system or firmware level.

Same for my iPhone 5s as well. Different readings on the level for different edges of the phone (including on it's back). A nice tool - if it gets corrected.

Same here. It's consistent, but wrong.

....and me too! Could be a VERY handy tool, but only if it's calibrated (or better yet, able to be regularly calibrated).

Has anyone had this corrected by going to the Apple store? Anything they can do? Anyone get their device replaced?

I have the same issue, but it goes further than that. Any game I play that uses tilt control is out as well, this is extremely frustrating. I can't drive a car in a straight line! I really hope this gets addressed soon.

Yeah, just another "Me Too". Mine's off by about 2 degrees while on it's side. I've tried another level app from the app store, and its not accurate either.

Tried a full factory reset, no joy.

Another unhappy iPhone user here. I've the iPhone 5 and 5s and those 2 unit also have the same issue.

The iPhone 5 is off by about -6 degrees on flat back and iPhone5s is off by about 3 degrees.

Same here, iPhone 5S Silver, 16 GB.

I am unfortunately having the same problem. Iphone 5S 32GB Sprint. Very upset. I'm thinking of returning the phone.

Really? Just because the level (generally a minimally used application) is slightly off, you would take the phone back? Harsh. 😕

Make sure you are updated to 7.0.2 then charge the battery for atleast 90 minutes with the screen locked and do not disturb on.
