New to Server, HELP!

Hello all!

I am new to OSX Server Lion (not to apple), I am in need of setting it up on my own. I work for an education company I plan on setting the server up similar to a design/ad agency company. I was curious if anyone has any pointer/tips or a specific order/checklist of things to go through and set up.

I have been working on the Host name and SSL certificate which I am not sure if I have done this correctly. I am not sure if I need to request a static IP from my ISP as well.
