No wifi after updating to iOS 7.0 on iPhone 4

1. Be sure you're in range of your Wi-Fi router (access point).
2. Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and on. If your W-Fi setting is dimmed, follow these steps.
3. Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and cable or DSL modem are connected to power, turned on, and connected to the Internet. If not, refer to your network administrator or Internet service provider (ISP) for assistance.
4. Restart your iOS device.
5. Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and locate the Wi-Fi network to which you're connected.
6. Tap and Forget this Network.
7. Try to connect to your desired Wi-Fi network.
   Note: You may need to enter your Wi-Fi password again if your network requires one.
8. Turn your Wi-Fi router off and on². If your ISP also provides cable or phone service, check with them before attempting this step to avoid interruption of service.
9. Update your device to the latest version of software.
10. Update your Wi-Fi router to the latest firmware². For AirPort Base Stations, install updates using the AirPort Utility.

1. Verify that you're attempting to connect to your desired Wi-Fi network.
2. Make sure you're entering your Wi-Fi password correctly. Passwords may be case sensitive and may contain numbers or special characters.
3. Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Note: This will reset all network settings including:
   • previously connected Wi-Fi networks and passwords
   • recently used Bluetooth accessories
   • VPN and APN settings

Have the exact same issue, and after spending over one hour at the Genius Bar I was told by the store manager that the only way to solve the issue was to buy a replacement phone because it wasn't IOS 7 to caused the issue but it was the wireless chip that was going to break regardless, and the iOS upgrade just accelerated the issue...

I have even showed her the plenty of threads like this one about the issue and she said they were all coincidences.

The thing is that the phone was brand new as it was replaced by apple 6 moths ago and super well taken care off...

I have been an iPhone user since the first hour and never had an issue till the 4s.

I'm super disappointed with the apple customer serviceman lack of care towards long time customers.

If you know your old phones won't work with the new iOS do not offer the upgrade.

It seems to me like a poor scheme to sell more new generation iPhones, since you can't even downgrade the iOS 6.

Now I'm stuck with a $600 clunker that can barely make phone calls since the 4g antenna is compromised, and that it's battery drains within 4 hours in plane mode wth no apps running.

I'm sad to say but it is time to get a windows phone or an android.

Shame on you apple...

I have an Iphone 5, a mini ipad, an Iphone 4s and a regular Ipad. I updated the Iphone 5 and the mini ipad with the 7.0.3 update but not the 4s or big Ipad. The updated devices no longer connect to my wifi they do not recognize the network password. The big Ipad and the Iphone 4s which I did not update have no problems connecting to my wifi.I have tried every fix mentioned on both of my devices...nothing works. It has to be the update that caused this to happen because they were both connecting perfectly before and my other two devices which I fortunately did not update are connecting pefectly...so how can this be fixed?
