Q: I updated my AppleTV this past weekend and the screen is frozen with an image that looks like it wants me to connect my AppleTV to iTunes.  I connected the cable that links my AppleTV to my laptop and iTunes didn't recognize the AppleTV no matter what.

Has anyone else had this issue?  How do I fix it?

    AppleTV 2 or 3?

     

    The reason I ask is that if you have AppleTV 2 720P connect it to your PC without the Power Cable and wait. Eventually it will pop up with teh recovery option.

     

    If it is AppleTV 3  1080P do the same but this time also connect the power adapter to the AppleTV.
