I have iWork 06. Recently got a new MacBook and installed Pages. It keeps saying try or buy. I have a registration number. But Pages could care less. I can't find where to enter it in order to use it. I was using it on my old PowerBook. But now I want to use it on the MacBook. What gives? How do I make it work? I have a ton of things to save and the save option is completely greyed out. I guess it's treating me like a demo person. While I have a legit copy I bought. Help. What can I do?
I finally found where I can enter number. Click on "Buy" and it brings up enter serial number. I enter it IDENTICALLY with the exact number from the Installing iWork 06 booklet that came with the software and nothing happens. The "continue" button remains greyed out. And all that remains is the "Buy" option. What is up with that?
I'm glad you got it worked out. You didn't say what finally worked & that would be good to post. It may help someone else who comes along with the same problem.
The main thing to remember when entering the serial number is that you must be logged in as an administrator. Otherwise it won't "take" & will have to be re-entered.
