Phone is working , ir rings and I hear texts arriving but screen is entirely black???????
4S phone is working. It rings and I can hear text mags coming in but the screen is black????

Hi, Ancaster1212.
If your screen remains blank when you start it, you may need to reset the phone, or restore the software. Try this first:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that does not get the screen going, then backup your device, and restore it.
