I updated to ios7 now The proxy settings won't remain in my wifi settings and I can't access internet at my school where I work. Help?

I'm also having this issue. I have 200 iPads in a school which won't retain the password for the proxy. Even if I put it in manually, it disappears after a short time.

Same here....I enter our server details in the manual tab, but they disappear straight away........so frustrating, any solutions??

I and others are also having this problem at my workplace, though it is not universal. Those affected are constantly prompted to re-enter our credentials for our proxy server. All of the HTTP PROXY settings are correctly entered in the Manual tab for our wireless network. The Server, Port and Username settings are all retained, but the Password disappears after a day, at most, and then the proxy server authentication prompts start all over again.

Has anyone found a solution to this??

Same here too, not working on ios7.04 ipad air, but it works fine on my older ipad with ios 6. Please come up with solution fast, apple.

Eventually asked Apple to replace my iPhone. No change, so it seems it's not the hardware.

There seems to be a problem with icloud synced settings. Especially for Wi-Fi Settings.

For me the problem was solved after ignoring and re-setting the wi-fi.

Have you tried changing the 'always allow' option under settings>Safari>Passwords and Autofill to on?

@ ispieler: Not sure how settings that govern how Safari deals with website passwords would affect whether the Wi-Fi proxy server password is retained. Could you elaborate?

It seems to prompt me less frequently when I change that setting. I have a case open with an apple engineer since this is effecting many of our users. If they have a fix I'll update the post.

I got a new iphone and fingers crossed all is working, despite my and apples every effort with last phone it was having none of it

Did anyone tried RESET NETWORK SETTINGS? (under GENERAL, RESET, RESET NETWORK SETTINGS)

I tried it now and proxy server settings is now working on my phone. Ill just have to type in my wifi password. Other than that, all good.

I replaced my phone last month, which of course blew out everything, including network settings. It's worse than ever lately. I've been turning wi-fi off at work 'cause the constant prompts to enter the proxy server password are driving me crazy.

I just bought Ipad Air today - same thing for me - Proxy settings do not work. I have 7.1.1 The proxy settings work perfectly on the Ipad2 - Beginning to wonder why I spent 1100 updating to a new Ipad today. Really really upset.

I tried changing the settings on Safari and it didn't make any difference. - what can I do to fix this. it's really really annoying
