downloaded Mountain Lion and it disabled all microsoft apps. what is up with this? what is the solution?

I downloaded Mountain LIon and it disabled my Microsoft apps. Like WORD!
This is crazy to pay for ML and have it inconvenience like this.
Does have anyone have a solution for this?
