my new iphone 5c wont open itunes store app i have tried rebooting it start to open then stops

Having the same issue on my iPhone 5 it's opens for a split second then crashes and I've tried rebooting the phone and closing the running app still won't work?

I have a 5 and am having the same issue. My iTunes Store app keeps crashing whenever I try to open it... Very frustrating!!

Having the same issue. Since updating; my itunes will not open. Restarting or rebooting does not help...NOW WHAT??? What is the fix?????

I can't open iTunes on my 4s. I emailed apple they said try logging out of iTunes and logging back in. This didn't work. Very annoying. Has no one had any success yet

After trying 15 different solutions that didn't work - aside from a full restore - I found a way.

Go to the Music icon, then click Store in upper left hand corner. At first it says it cannot connect to store. Now I apologize because I don't recall exactly which I pressed next, but if you go ahead from that screen and continue to attempt to access songs or videos, it will take you to the iTunes Store. After that, my iTunes icon began to work.

oh yes thats brilliant, this worked for me, i tried to connect to the store through music, it said it couldn't connect but i clicked on search and after i while it went ahead and did it, then i closed music down and went to the itunes app and it worked fine
