editing video files
Hello 🙂
I purchased the Wondershare Video Editor to slice up some video files.
Could I have done this on iMovie as well?
Thanks,
Peter.

Yup you can 🙂
Yup you can 🙂
Yes, that is precisely what iMovie is for.
yes and no …
iMovie is meant by concept for editing camcorder material.
… but there are about 4.000 different sorts of 'video formats' out there…
So, iMovie doesn't edit 'any' moving images.
Some yes, some no, some after conversion, some can not be converted ...
MacOS10.6 indicates, you have an 'old' Mac ...
never tried iMovie before (comes pre-installed on any Mac since 2002) ....?
My imac is actually 3 years old 10.6.8 Snow Leopard 🙂 and I wouldnt have bothered buying Wondershare for Imac had I known that iMovie can splice film too- it kinda makes the Wondershare Video Editor for Mac a redundant product, really? lol
Thanks for all guidance people!!
Peter
