transfer bookmarks from one user to another
my user account crashed... finder continuously blinking, i have created new user account, how to transfer all my bookmarks and desktop icons to the my new user account ??????????
iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.5)
From the new account, open the Users folder and drag the old account's home folder to the desktop. Open it and move the items inside as desired; to access the Safari bookmarks, open the folder, choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu, and provide Library/Safari/ as the path.
Keep track of what you move. Moving the wrong file may transfer the problem to the new account.
